TURMERIC (CURCUMIN) FOR PAIN RELIEF
Curcumin from turmeric can prevent precancerous changes and arterial plaque formation. It also has antibiotic, anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer properties and it can help relieve arthritic conditions (1).
An old friend of mine had been unwell for several years with neck, back, leg and joint pain. When I saw him recently he looked younger and seemed to be pain free. He attributed this health improvement to taking turmeric as in the recipe below.
Half cup of organic turmeric.
One cup of water
One tea-spoon ground black pepper
¼ cup cold pressed Olive oil
Heat it all together in a saucepan until blended. Add more water if necessary. Keep in fridge.
Dose: One heaped tea spoon every evening taken in milk or in kefir.
